Whenever someone asks me what variety of Noodles do I prefer, I’d definitely say I’m an Udon fan myself. I’d literally go on with just Udon in clear vegetable or meat and bone broth with a touch of sping onions for garnish. I’ve heard some udon restaurants before and I went to one in SM City Megamall but really didn’t have time to actually dine there so I thought; “Why not try one now?”
Whilst my free time stroll on SM City Fairview after Payday, I got to see a branch of a restaurant named Marugame Udon and I knew that moment that it was my time to enjoy a hearty bowl of thick noodles.
Not wasting any minute, I went to the counter and buy myself a large bowl of their bestseller called; Beef Bukakke Udon. Now don’t let the name fool you, this bowl is full of umami flavour that will take your tastebuds to an adventure. Although people with High Blood pressure or with High cholesterol levels are off limits with the said food.
Like any other foodie out there, I took my sweet time savouring the warm bowl presented to me. The best part was for me to ogle onto that sexy runny egg before breaking it.
I felt so much better after consuming the whole thing and I kid you not when I say that I’ll visit Marugame Udon as frequent as I can. Feel free to voice out your experience towards the said restaurant and recommend me some other delectable dishes to try next.
